I didn’t know Jim well but my mother, Susannah Crassweller (Bishop) was his cousin and I saw Jim over the years at various family events. I got to know him best when I stayed the weekend with him several years ago when I came to Brantford to represent the Leonard family at the Brantford high school when they were honouring Ruben Leonard at the schools anniversary celebration. I enjoyed the weekend with him immensely as he showed me around Brantford and took me to his golf club for dinner. A wonderful host. Jim was a wonderful man; warm, engaging, intelligent and just so nice. My condolences go out to the family. I am sure he will be missed. Mara
