Jim Digby was one of my strongest mentors and friends when I lived in Brantford. He encouraged me to begin cycling with his strong friend, Don McIntire, and we called ourselves the Brantford Weathercocks. This was because the weathercock, an old fashion wind direction indicator, was always pointed into the wind. This was what we experienced as we cycled. Jim was with us as we began our cycling trips down the Blue Ridge Parkway, which goes 600 miles down the top oif the Appalachain Mountains from Northern VA to Western NC. It is a non commeecial National Parkway the entire way. He was a happy, srtong, encouraging, and loving friend and leader. I know he is happily cycling now in the heavens above, as is our friend Don McIntire. I look forward to joining them and cycling with them theere myself soon. Love. James
