To Deb and the family of David Downham.

I would like express our deepest sympathy to the family of David Downham in his passing.
I was a member of the Brantford Minor Girls Softball Association from the '70's through to the mid '90's and while I was the manager of the local travelling team, Dave would be one of our umpires over those years. We always had a good relationship with Dave not only through his umpiring but also in general conversation. It has been a few years now since we had talked but I will never forget your husband, father or other relative/friend.
Dave served the community well in his support of the Brantford minor sports system.
It was an honour to have known him and I am saddened with his loss. May God richly bless all of the family during this time of love and reflection.

Buckoo,
I remember the first Christmas we shared together. You insisted on selecting and purchasing my present (all us kids of our blended family) on your own accord. My present was a yellow sweater. I was shocked when I opened it as it was not a style or colour I had ever worn before. I wore that sweater with pride for many years.
I have also collected many a greeting cards which you would carefully pick out yourself. Thank you for those pieces of your heart.
Your stepdaughter, Charlene M.

The only MAN that I could ever call "Dad"
I can not even tell you how much I thought of you as my DAD over the 30+ years Margo & myself have known you.
There are so many cherished memories it is so hard to write them down...
The first thing I want to do is ...You encouraged me & we had many laughs over the years...Your love of the New York Yankees made us laugh when we would come to visit. You would be in the back room watching the games just yelling and boy do I miss that!!##!
When Margo & I brought everyone's 1st Grandchild, Greatgrandchild & neice into the world you were very much the proud Grandpa💙 Both Amanda & Brandon's favorite memory and mine and Margo's was when you said you were going to take us out to dinner on FATHER'S DAY and we ended up at the beerstore hotdog stand...you always made us laugh and loved all our kids and Greatgrandkids Bella who you saw more of and Jameis and unfortunately for Brayden he never got to meet you such a caring loving man...
We all will remember all the fun times now and always...until one day we all meet again💙
