Passed away suddenly at Fox Ridge Care Community surrounded by family and friends
in his 82 nd year. Loving Husband of Carolyn Downham. Cherished father of Billy
(Michelle), Deb, Kelly (Wayne). Stepfather of Allen, Chris (Brad), Charlene and Leonard
(Margo). Proud grandpa of Alexis, Andrew, Joel, Malcolm and Logan. Step-Grandpa of
Stanley, Wesley, Amanda, Brandon. David will be missed by Margaret McLeod and
Step-Great Grandchildren Bella, Jameis and Brayden and many friends. Pre-deceased
by Annie and Jack. Survived by siblings Sam and Irene.
David gave back to the  Brantford Community by umpiring local baseball for over 35
years, coaching Minor Hockey and sharing his love of sports and music with his family.
Dad will be forever remembered for his zest for life and love for his family. A private
family interment will take place on Wednesday, October 16. A Celebration of Life  will be
held at Gametime at 141 King George Rd. at 4pm- 7pm.  A Special thank you to the
