With sadness, we announce the passing of our mother Mary Jean Peycha (nee Panchyson) on May 18th, 2020, in her 90th year. Mary is predeceased by her husband Victor (1996), daughter-in-law Connie (2019) and survived by her children Cindy (Andrew) House, Valerie (Tony) Di Foglio, Christopher Peycha and Mark (Connie) Peycha. She was a special and loving Nana to Jessica and Michael House, and Alexander and Benjamin Di Foglio. Sister of the late Eva Stoklosa. Mom always prioritized the needs of her family, found joy in being with and laughing with her loved ones and dedicated her energy to our happiness and wellbeing. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan, supporting them in their various activities and happily following their life events. For a number of years, Mom enjoyed visiting the library, selecting an armful of books to read. More recently she routinely attended her fitness classes at the Wayne Gretzky Centre. Her warm smile, sense of humour and kind words will be missed by us all. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is not possible to remember Mary together. An intimate gathering of her immediate family will take place at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brantford Public Library or the charity of your choice are welcome.

So sorry for your loss and my heartfelt condolences to your family. I remember when your mother and her sister Eva bought me my first pair of skates for Christmas when I was all of 4 years old...they sure got a good workout at Recreation Park. Then they took me to my 1st NHL Leafs hockey game when they used to work in Toronto. Many memories from days gone by. RIP Mary...

My heart is with all Mary’s family.
We had many great conversations while I drove her to and from the Gretzky Centre.
I will miss her dearly.
