MacNEIL, Daniel Alexander - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dan on February 22, 2018, at the age of 61. Loving father of Alex (Megan) MacNeil. Predeceased by parents Alex and Doris(Gillen) MacNeil and sister Margaret. Survived by siblings Joanne, Rita, Cathy (Louie), Jean, Jim (Lori), Teresa (Mel) and Carol. Beloved Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses on C Wing 5th floor and Emergency Department at the Brantford General Hospital. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Welcome In Homeless Shelter.
