Andrew  Gal
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 18, 2017 at St. Peter's residence, Hamilton at the age of 92. Andrew's final words were, "Thank you Jesus, Hallelujah, Praise the Lord." Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Boyes, Weber), and predeceased by his first wife Katherine (nee Bernhardt). Hard-working and generous father to his cherished children Robert Gal (Karen), the late Beverly Mercer (Cliff), Sandra White (Don), Joyce Rubenstein (Steve), and stepfather of Kent Weber (Kathy) and Colette Brenner. Fun loving and devoted Grandpa of 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Survived by his two sisters Irma Lupsor and Julianne Gal. Predeceased by his siblings Madeline, George and Jim. Andrew's heart was full of love for his family, friends and his Lord. He was a devoted Christian who enjoyed sharing his testimony. Andy was a talented musician who played violin, mandolin, banjo, piano and harmonica. A skilled craftsmen in multi trades who built his first and last house with his own hands. A celebration of Andrew's life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Cedarview Church, 20 Cedar St., Paris at 1 PM. Memorial gifts in honour of Andrew can be donated to Cedarview Church www.cedarviewchurch.com/give.
