The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. My Little Grandma

I am very lucky to have had the relationship I had with "Little Grandma". She cared so much about her family, and always wanted to hear about what was going on in our lives. From sports games to graduations and family vacations, she was usually there. She would listen like a mother if I had a problem to share, and gave great advice. Before a sleepover at Little Grandma's apartment, she made sure she had the special foods that I liked, like "Black bread" and Peach ice cream. She'd put out a sleeping bag on her living room floor, and let me stay up to watch Saturday Night Live (altough I rarely made it to 11:30). She always gave the best kisses when I first saw her, during visits, and I always knew she was very proud of me. Her life that she lived was absolutely amazing. She survived losing a husband early in life, carried on with two very young sons, breast cancer, open heart surgery, yet her faith in god and positive outlook on life never waned.

She lived to almost a hundred, and I admit, I sometimes felt like she was just always going to be there in our lives. I am grateful that my wife and daughters also had an oppourtunity to have a relationship with her and felt her love in their lives. I will miss her dearly, but I will cherish the memories I have of her, the moments I shared with her, and I will smile when I think of my Little Grandma.
