Obituary for Ben Nicholas Morrison (Cromwell)
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Ben surrounded by his family at the Stedman Community Hospice, on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the age of 16 years.
Son of Chuck Cromwell (Tamara) and Lisa Morrison. Brother of Cameron, Max and Kyra, who brought him the most joy, laughter and love. Ben leaves behind his great-grandmother Jeanne Smith, and grandparents Brenda Campbell, Ken and Gail Morrison. Ben was also loved by his aunts and uncles Julie and Jim Kozina, Tina and Dave Henwood, Kim and Darah Gutsche. He will also be missed by his cousins, extended family members and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather John Campbell (April 29, 2017). Ben loved fishing, movies, riding his bike and swimming. He had an infectious laugh and his smile would brighten any room. Ben made such an impact in his short life. He will be forever remembered and terribly missed.
The family would like to thank everyone in Ben’s daily life who provided above and beyond care, not only to Ben but the whole family. This last four years was only possible with these people and services.
Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Ben’s Life will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery. The family were granted a trip of a lifetime and were able to travel to Walt Disney World through Make A Wish Foundation. In Ben’s honour the family would appreciate donations to Make A Wish Foundation or Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation.
