Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Cathy for 40 years. Devoted father of Jason Spencer (Celine), Gloria Wickson, Tasha and Mike Spencer. Cherished grandpa and papa to Katie, Brody, Emily, Haylee, Maddison, Melissa and Brittany and great-papa to Briley and Charlie. Dear brother of Marion Cooper (Bill), Ken Spencer (Carol), Dave Spencer, Carol Taylor (Ken), Bob Spencer (Wendy) and the late Ted Spencer. Predeceased by his parents Nettie and Vern Spencer. Ray will also be missed by his brother in law Ron Howey (Deb), many special nieces, nephews and their families. He was a proud employee for over 40 years of Sonoco. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and Monday from 12 -1 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel. Donations to the charity of your choice appreciated.
