Condolence: To the Holt Family
So sorry for your loss. Its so hard to lose someone who has loved you for your whole life. Your dad was well thought of, a great family man, and an interesting conversationalist. I will always remember chatting with him at christmas celebrations after his wife died. I will be thinking of you tomorrow at his funeral because i cant make it. Hope you feel the love and support of each other and family and friends.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences go out to the family.
Doug was always our favorite relative - we loved him very much. He used to come West to Saskatchewan to visit and hunt every Fall - something we really looked forward to. We had many fun adventures together and we will cherish those memories. We also truly appreciated everything Doug did to keep himself, his kids, grandkids and great grandkids connected with our families in the west.
We love you all, and our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Doug’s passing will leave a big gap in many lives. He was a wonderful, loving and caring man who family was so important to. He was the best Grandpa and Papa any child could ask for and his presence will truly be missed. I feel blessed to have known him and will miss him too. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sharing in your sadness.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear that Doug had passed away but have an assurance, having visited with him many times, that he is now in the presence of the Lord. Doug's memories of his past were a constant source of enjoyment to everyone and he had a genuine interest in people. He was so easy to talk with and you always felt appreciated and loved. I'll miss my visits and chats with Doug and we, as a church family, will miss having him here at Central Baptist.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to Glenn, Elaine and Scott. I have very fond memories of Uncle Doug from my early years in Brantford to later at Raven Lake. Uncle Doug was a wonderful person and touched many lives in a positive way. I’m sorry I will not be able to attend the memorial service but I will be thinking of him and family. I hope we can get together soon to share some memories.

Condolence: Glenn, Elaine & Scott - my heart goes out to you and your families during this difficult time. Uncle Doug was a true character, a warm and loving man who lived life to the fullest. I know there's nobody that Dad loved or admired more than his little brother. The heartache will become bearable with time, and take comfort knowing that he's safe and at peace with God and Aunt Jean, the true love his life.
With love,
Dianne
