Obituary for Donald Leon "Sandy" Sandison

Loving husband of Betty Fowler (1981) and Marian Woodard Sykes (2013). Precious dad to Denise Papple (David) and Debbie Dunlop (Ray Kirkham). Adoring grandfather to Andrew Papple (Sarah Elliott), Arica Clark (Benjamin), Scott Dunlop (Jennie), Bryan Dunlop (Candice), Rob Dunlop (Renata St Clair), Richard Kirkham (Courtney Quebec-Desloges), and Ryan Kirkham. Very proud Big Big Grandpa/Big Poppa to Charlotte Clark, Daniel, William and Katie Dunlop, Bella and Kai Dunlop. Also survived by sister-in- law Isabelle Fowler (Robert 2008), stepson Paul Sykes (Lynda) and their families. Sandy was known as “Mr Mason” having been very active in Free Masonary, Scottish Rite, White Shrine, Eastern Star, and Mocha Shriners to name a few. He was a faithful member of Fairview United Church. He spent most of his working life at the P.U.C. Friends will be received at DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 1-3 p.m. June 25, 2016 with Service to follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. Masonic Memorial Service Friday at 6:30 under the auspices of Reba Lodge #515 and St Johns Lodge #82 A.F. & A.M. Donations can be made to Camp Trillium (Rainbow Lake) or the Shriners Hospital.
