Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Stedman Community Hospice at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Don for 51 wonderful years. Cherished and loving mother of John (Amanda), Alan (Wendy) and Shelly (Mark). Proud grandmother of Danielle, Kyle, Patrick, Benjamin, Nicholas, Evan and Ty. Jean will be deeply missed by her siblings Judy (Doug) and William (Joan). Predeceased by her parents Harold and Adelaide Hansford, and her sister Elizabeth. Jean’s caring and warm personality will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 7- 9 p.m. at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Visitation will resume on Thursday from 2- 4 p.m. with a memorial gathering to follow at 4 p.m. in the Charing Cross Reception Suites. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice.
