It is with sadness we announce the passing of Sushil Kumar Sen on Wed. Dec. 29, 2021 at the Brantford General Hospital. Sushil leaves behind his wife Helga, daughter Sonja (Chris), grandchildren Nadia and Alessandro and siblings in town and India. Sushil was born in Calcutta on Sept. 5, 1936. He moved to Germany where he met his wife, Helga and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Sushil faced many challenges in his new country but also made many friends who appreciated his tasty Indian cuisine. Cremation has taken place at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alzheimer's Society of Brant or to an Anti-Racism initiative of your choice. The family would like to thank the emergency staff and palliative care unit at the Brantford General Hospital for their care.
