Passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the age of 87. Kazimierz was born on November 25, 1934 in Muskatowka, Poland where he lived as a child. Predeceased by his son Zygmunt Zapotoczny (1991) and siblings Mikolaj, Josefa, Michal and Anna. Kazimierz enjoyed working on his hobby farm late into his 80s. In his earlier years he enjoyed being sociable as a member of the Cambridge Polish Hall where he loved to watch his grandchildren folk dance. Kazimierz’s memory will continue to live in the hearts of those who loved him, son Chris, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, grandson Daniel, granddaughter Melody and his wife Olimpia. A man of character, energy and determination with a sense of humour to boot. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Masks are mandatory and social distancing protocols will be in place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church, 235 Brant Ave., Brantford. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
