Obituary for Ruth Wilkin Sadler

Mom, in her 100th year, passed peacefully and of natural causes at Brierwood Gardens with her daughter Lois at her side. She looked forward to going home to her Saviour, Jesus Christ. Mom was predeceased by her husband and our dad Cecil in 2004, after 63 years of marriage. Left to mourn are her children and their spouses; Ruth Ann and Bill Hampel, Carol and Will Fraser, Ken and Enid Sadler, Rick and Anna Sadler, Jim Sadler, Lois Walker and the late Brian, Debbie and Jerry Aleman and George and Gail Bragg. Granny had 20 grandchildren who have special memories and stories to tell of adventures with her (and Grampy). She also had numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Aunt Ruth also has numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. We want to say a special thank you to the staff and caregivers who lovingly cared for Mom for 5 years and kept her safe from COVID. She told us regularly how glad she was to be there and how good you were to her. She loved “her girls” and knew you loved her back. A private family Celebration of Life was held. Arrangements entrusted to Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Messages of condolence may be left at www.tollfh.ca
