Obituary for Peter Bouman

On November 10, 2021 Peter Bouman in his 97th year passed away peacefully at the Stedman Hospice surrounded by family. Husband to Margaret and father to Robert (Avril), Ted (Linda) and Tim (Sara). Opa to Alex, Hannah (Julian), Rachel, Matthew, Noah, Kaitlyn, Zachary, McKenna, Mandi, Sarah (Trevor). Great Opa to Aleya, Alexander, Andras, isabelle, Lyla-Grace and Ezra. Predeceased by his parents and 14 siblings in Holland and grandson, Benjamin. Peter came to Canada in 1952. He raised his family in Toronto then relocated to Brantford. Peter owned and operated Golden Fish & Chips where he fed many PJ Students and finally retired from Eagle Place Fish and Chips. In his spare time Peter kept himself busy with petit point. His true passion was gardening. His yard was a masterpiece! Peter and Margaret were long and loyal members of Central Baptist Church. Friends and family will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Registration is required to attend. You can register on the funeral home website on Peter’s memorial page. Please be advised that masks and social distancing protocols will be in place. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11am. Registration is required to attend. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford.
