Passed into the presence of his Lord at home surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Sherwood) for 63 years. Much loved father of Patricia Ann Nunn (David) and Kendra Jean Harrison (André). Cherished grandfather of Nigel, Sasha, Branden, Keisha and Katie. Proud great-grandfather of Mason. Sterling will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Reginald McElrea (Frances) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Douglas McElrea and his step-sister Isabelle. Sterling was an Elder for over 60 years at Bethel Park Bible Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Eastnor Cemetery, Lions Head at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Sterling’s Life will be held at Bethel Park Bible Chapel, 252 North Park Street, Brantford on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sterling can be made to Bethel Park Missionary Fund.
