ZECCA, Cosimo Salvatore – with profound sadness we announce the passing of Cosimo, our loving and devoted Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend to all whose lives he touched. Born in Manduria, Italy (Puglia), he lived 73 wonderful years and was taken from us too soon on Thursday, September 30th, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Angela (nee: Gibaldi) for over 50 years. Loving Dad of Joy, Claudia and Frank. Proud grandpa to Noah and Jade and an adoring great grandpa to Lincoln. He is predeceased by his parents Francesco and Maria Zecca. Dear brother of the late Orlando and Mimina Zecca, the late Maria and John Mele, the late Antoinette and John Cesario, the late Nina and Tony Tancredi and the late Salvatore and Valeria Zecca. Cosimo was the brother-in-law to the late Joe and Rina Gibaldi, Maria and the late Salvatore (France), Antoinette and the late Ken Babister, the late John Gibaldi, the late Lina Dibattista and Sam and Sherri Gibaldi. He will be fondly remembered by his many loving nieces and nephews. Cosimo was a respected business owner and contractor over the span of his entire life. He began working construction at the young age of 15. His kind soul and tireless work ethic were unwavering. He was truly a family man and a gentleman. Every breath in life was all for his family. He is leaving us all with tears in our eyes and heavy hearts but love and memories that will never perish. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, on Monday, October 4th from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. A funeral service for Cosimo will be held on Tuesday, October 5th in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. A private entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum will follow the service.
