Obituary for Tamara Ruth "Tamie" Elliott

ELLIOTT, Tamara Ruth “Tamie” – passed away suddenly at home, after a brief illness, on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the age of 63. Precious daughter of Lorene and the late Charles Elliott. Loving sister of Dave Elliott, Murray (Monica) Elliott and Be (the late Ngoc) Tran. Tamie will be fondly remembered by her many dear nieces and nephews Tania (Peter), Kelly (Rodrique), Mary (Jeff), Jim (Kayla), Emily (Craig), Maureen (Drew), Lara (Mike) and Tara (James). Also dearly remembered by Mark (Freda) who is her surrogate brother. Tamie loved her many great and great great nieces and nephews and they will miss her kindness and generosity. Tamie was a proud, long time member and children’s program volunteer of Central Baptist Church. Her family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the neighbours of Trimdon Avenue, Constable S. Parks and to all the attending Emergency Medical Response Team. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 10th, 2021 at 11 a.m. and will be livestreamed through Tamie’s memorial page on the Toll website. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Masks and social distancing protocols will be in place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brantford Public Library would be greatly appreciated. In these times of increased COVID infections, please stay within your comfort zone with regard to your expression of sympathy; your on-line presence at this service will be appreciated as much as your physical attendance.
