RONSON, Robert Donald “Bob”- It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bob Ronson of Brantford, on August 23, 2021, at the age of 78. He will be lovingly remembered by Mary Johnstone. Beloved father of Rob Ronson (Peggy), Ken Ronson, Kerry Lane and Donna Carpenter (Dennis). Grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Bob is survived by siblings Ollie Ronson (Kathie), Tom Ronson (Dawn), Shirley Barkley and Nancy Ronson-McDonald (Bill). Bob is preceded by his parents Harold & Margret, siblings Wayne Ronson and Carol Ronson. Bob will forever be remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends, family and his girl Hershey. In 1966 Bob and friend Robert Johnson saw the need for an organization to help police recover drowning victims. Together they volunteered their time and energy to form the Underwater Search and recovery unit of Brantford. When called by local and surrounding authorities they selflessly went to help so families need not suffer. Always keeping busy after retiring from Raymond's, Bob could always be counted on to help family and friends. Throughout Bob's life he enjoyed spending time on the water, boating with family and friends. He will be missed deeply and loved always.
