Nicole Christa Eilers McGlogan
It is with heavy hearts that Carol and Hajo Eilers announce the peaceful
passing of Nicole, at home on Monday August 16, 2021. Nicole is survived
by her husband Kelly and her beloved companion Louie, her uncle Mike
and Jenny Eilers, aunt Dörte and Dr. Bruce Farrington (pre-deceased), aunt
Lani Kaito and Peter Wolber (pre-deceased).
Pre-deceased by her Omi and Opa Eilers, her grandma Hilda Holt
Colombis Burton and Chesley Burton.
Fondly remembered by mother-in-law Barbara and Bob (pre-deceased)
McGlogan and siblings Mike (Wendy), Mark (Sharon), Karen (Felix)
Vanderpool, Carol (Rod McKeown) and Cindy Weber.
Nicole will be dearly missed by many cousins, relatives and friends
including Lisa, James, Vince (Bo), Mike (pre-deceased), Dion (Sherri),
Michele, Pauline, Christine and many cousins in Germany.
Nicole’s beauty and love will continue to shine bright in the lives of all she
touched. Nicole was a graduate of the University of Guelph (1986), went on to
become a manager at Preferred Sourcing Cambridge and sales for CFIB,
Volvo and recently managed H & M Manufacturing. Nicole loved being out in nature, walking with Louie through the fields at the farm, and she was an avid bargain hunter always finding great deals. Her
love of animals, her zest for life, and her compassion for others is
something we can all strive for in this life. Some of Nicole’s favourite past
times were entertaining family and friends, taking road trips with her mom
and dad to Clearwater Florida, and with her best friends Stacey and
Rosemary cottaging and sharing sunsets and having lots of laughs. Nicole
will always be remembered for her loving, kind, and generous spirit, and
her beautiful smile. A celebration of life for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
