It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary. Loving husband of Marilyn, brother of Brent (Saskatchewan) and Cheryl (Kitchener), Uncle to Jason, Kirt and Brett. Predeceased by parents Frank and Myrtle Kaar. Gary graduated from Ryerson University in Environmental Health and was employed as an Environmental Health Officer for Health Canada for 31 years in Toronto. Gary had a great interest in sports. He played two exhibition games for the Hamilton Tiger Cats. He was a member of the Brantford Harlequin Rugger Team and competed in Wales. His true love was golf and he was a member of Heron Point for 26 years. Gary was very interested in physical fitness, nutrition and good health practices in general. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and gentle person. Due to COVID-19 restrictions attendance at the funeral service is private. However, the service will be live streamed on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11am.
