Vicki is heartbroken that her “Darlin” of 38 years passed very suddenly at home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Our love story began when we met at Dragway Park in 1983. We bought our Chevy Vega in 1984 and got married on the starting line in 1986. We spent the next 25 years racing, winning the track championship, the world championship and a large number of awards and trophies. We made many great friends and a lot of great memories on our journey. Slim could design and build anything and was well known for his “Slim Engineering” on our infamous purple “Orgazmick Rythyme” ’71 Chevy Vega. Slim was an amazing “Daddy” to our many furry family members over the years and loved living at our magical “Crofton Lodge.” Slim will be greatly missed by brother-in-law Dave, Keith by big sister Kathi (Jim), uncle Keith by beloved nieces Vicki (Jason) and Veronica (Roy), great uncle Keith by wonderful great nieces Claire, Ella, Cora and great nephews Josh and Wyatt. Keith is predeceased by mom Alice (nee Kubicki) in 1990 and dad Leo in 1972. I’m so grateful to our many friends and neighbours for your love and support during this horrible time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. Donations to your local SPCA in memory of Slim would be appreciated.
