Kathy Clyne, 61, passed peacefully surrounded by her family at home on April 27, 2021. She is survived by her lifelong partner and husband Kenneth, sons Benjamin (Nikki, loved grandkids William and Maddie) and Daniel, siblings Kim (Brad, nieces Alex and Sarah) Brian (Julia) and Rick (Tish) and predeceased by her parents, Bill and Joyce Hunter and her sister in law Patricia (niece Natasha). She will be dearly missed by her close friends Pat, Heather, Carol and Karen.
Kathy’s dynamic personality and unforgettable laugh were contagious and she spent a life spreading joy and love to all she met. Born in Brantford, she made lifelong friends along the way in Oakville. Kathy met Ken at Pearson International Airport, falling in love and getting married. A few years after the birth of their children, Daniel and Benjamin, the family moved to Brantford for a quieter family life. She spent 20 years helping customers, friends and family at Mom’s Variety and loved her regular customers. She will be missed by the community around the store and especially by her friend Marlene. Kathy spent her life caring for others and was a Mom and friend to so many more than just her family.
Endless thanks and love to the nurses and doctors at Juravinski Hospital, Brantford General and Bayshore Healthcare. Your caring support was deeply appreciated by Kathy and her family.
Ooh maybe tomorrow
I'll find find my way
To the land where the honey runs
In rivers each day
And the sweet tastin' good life
Is so easily found
A way over yonder
That's where I'm bound
