Shane and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Marilyn and I have been close friends since our days on Park Ave. You were just a little boy at the time so you probably don’t remember us. Your Mom had such a unique way of looking at things, I so enjoyed our conversations together. She was a beautiful woman with the kindest heart. I just sent her a message the other day! She was on my mind and I had no idea that she was ill. I am so sorry, she will be truly missed.

I didn't knew Marilyn too well, but did meet her quite some years back, when her mom Edith sold real estate, and in recent years, had occasion to see her and cross paths on the local Brantford for sale/auction bid sites. Marilyn and I both are the same age, and it just came as a shock to me to learn of her recent passing. So, I just wanted to offer my sincere condolences to her family for your loss. We also shared being single mothers of sons. I will always remember Marilyn's beautiful eyes that indeed showed her kind heart. She left much too soon. May she rest in peace, and may you hold your memories of her close to your hearts to carry you through your loss.

I knew Marilyn for decades and I am still trying to accept that she is gone. My heart aches for her beloved family. Such a profound shock and loss. Marilyn was part of a close network of BGH colleagues and friends- especially in our Mental Health Department. -So many great shared memories of work days and social events. The job was sometimes tough, but we had a great team... and we had a ton of fun at work, and at our many social gatherings. Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented us from seeing one another for a long time, but thank goodness for social media at least. I was able to keep in touch a little via Messenger. She will now be reunited with some of our other MH Angels who departed too soon.
Marilyn was indeed one of the proudest mothers and grandmothers I have ever known. She loved her family so very much. My sincere condolences to Shane and family, and to all who will miss her dearly.

Shane and family. So very sorry to hear about Marilyn passing. She was a very kind person. I worked with her for many years. Went to her crafts shows on several occasions. Beth Marilyn and I would go to lunches together before COVID and catch up on each other’s lives. She was so proud of her grandsons. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. She will be missed.
