It is with great sadness and much appreciation that we celebrate the life of Stella, who passed away at the home where she lived for the past 68 years on April 6, 2021, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Henry, her loving sister Bernice Markowski (Andrew) and her parents, Teofil and Stella Czerwinski. Stella will be greatly missed by her children Raymond (Beverley), Barb (Simon Donkers) and Paula. Devoted grandmother of Emily, Gillian, Matthew, Amie and Stasia, and great-grandmother of Henry and Miles. She will be remembered fondly by nephews Michael and Paul Markowski. Stella was the guiding light of our lives. Her love and devotion to her mother, her husband, her sister, her children and her grandchildren are her legacy, and those memories will give her family strength now and forever. Stella was a parishioner for more than 50 years at St. Pius X Parish in Brantford and was a longtime employee of the Brantford Public Library who instilled a love of reading in her children. A Mass of the Christian Burial has been held.
