Peacefully with his family by his side, Kevin lost his battle with ALS. He leaves behind his beloved spouse and best friend of 36 years, Sue Hayes. Loving father and mentor to his son Deric (Tiffany), proud grandfather and papa poopoo to Zachary, Cameron, Danica, Charlie and Nash. Much loved brother of Mark, Jeff and Tracy. Brother in law to Paul (Barb), Mike (Darlene) and Dan (Jenn). Adored by his mother in law Momma Hayes-Christena. He will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers. Predeceased by his parents Donald (2013), Laurine (2019), his sister Lisa (2013), and father in law Brian Hayes (2006). Kevin had the best sense of humour. He had a passion for old cars and carpentry. He was a very good country singer and he was always willing to give someone a hand if they needed it. A special thank you to Deric, Tiffany and Dana for all their help during this difficult time. Also a huge thank you to the doctors, nurses and PSW’s for all their compassionate care of Kevin at his home. Cremation has already taken place, in lieu of flowers; donations can be made to the ALS Society or Stedman Community Hospice.
