Garry Fletcher, 84, passed away in his sleep at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 1, 2021. Garry was born on September 12, 1936 to Howard and Arabelle (nee Jessup) Fletcher in Cache Bay, ON. Garry and his family moved to Copper Cliff, ON, where he went to school. Later he moved to Sudbury, ON and then Brantford, ON. On August 17, 1963 he married Evelyn Postuzny in Sudbury. They enjoyed camping and loved road trips to visit their grandchildren. In Garry’s youth he was a trainer for the Sudbury Wolves. He was also an avid golfer and won the 1975 Idylwylde Club Championship in Sudbury. Garry is survived by his wife Evelyn, his sons Christopher, Andrew and Patrick Fletcher (Jennifer Abols), and his grandchildren; Amber, Brooke and Cade. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers; Frank, Howard and William and sister Ruth. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the future when we are able to gather again.
