it is with great sorrow that we announce Sylvia’s passing on Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 80th year. Predeceased by her infant daughter Corinne and her husband James Stowe. Cherished and devoted mother of Steven Miles, Leah Miles and Sandra Newton (Greg). Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sylvia is also survived by her sister Shirley (Stanley) Hanson and many other extended family and friends. She was a generous and caring friend to everyone she knew. Her door was always open. A special thank you to the nurses of the BGH 5th Floor for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place.
