It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria on January 11, 2021 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the Late Alfred Kaman. Proud and loving mother of her children Fred Kaman (Cindy Park) and Monica Crawford (Chris). Cherished mama of Taylor and Joshua Crawford, Colby, Zackery and Matthew Kaman. Maria is predeceased by her parents Janos Hettinger and Maria Horvath and by her brother Gyula (Janos) Hettinger. Maria and Alfred immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1957. Maria was a hardworking tobacco farmer in the Delhi/Norwich area. A former member of Delhi District Hungarian Hall and Brantford District Hungarian Canadian Club. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Fox Ridge Care Community. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, Ontario. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance at the funeral service is private. However, the service will be live streamed on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11am.
