With profound sadness we announce the passing of Mary Doreen Rouble, age 76. She passed away peacefully January 7th, 2021, surrounded by love and sunshine. Born October 22nd, 1944 in Strathroy, Ontario to Norman and Margeret Calcutt and always an ever loving daughter. Survived by son Norman Genereaux, his wife Brînduşa Valachi and son Steven Genereaux. Loving Wife of the late Karl Rouble. She will always be remembered as a devoted Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend to countless people. During her lifetime, she fought many battles and won every one of them. As a two-time cancer survivor, she volunteered at the Canadian Cancer Society Brant Unit as Director and Transportation Conveyor, helping many other cancer patients. Instead of retiring, she chose to become a School Crossing Guard, advancing to Supervisor and giving her the opportunity to make many more friends in the community. She will be missed by all. Meeting and marrying Karl completed her life and they are now together again playing with their schnauzers and laughing. She was the most courageous, strong, compassionate and giving person that we have ever known and she will live in our hearts forever. This has been exceptionally hard on all of her family and friends and we want them to know that Mom passed very peacefully in the sunshine with a smile on her face; like an angel rising up to paradise. There will be an intimate interment with a Celebration of Life Memorial to be announced at a later date.
