Obituary for Lloyd George Gray

At the end of a year filled with so many difficulties, we had to say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Lloyd George Gray passed away at St. Joseph’s Lifecare with his family by his side, at the age of 84. Beloved and devoted husband of Jeanette (nee Lee) for 62 years. Caring and loving father of Margaret (Brian) and David (Jayne), Ron and Steven. Ever present grandfather of six grandchildren; Michael, Kimberly (Jonathan), Jason, Courtney (Cameron), Mackenzie and Joshua and four great-grandchildren; Evan, Serena, Connor and Emily. Lloyd and Jeanette owned and operated Lloyd Gray TV for over 38 years, knowing each and every customer by name. Lloyd loved to swim, and spend time in Florida with his best friends, Gerry and Ron. His trip to Alaska was one of the highlights of his life, however, nothing was more important to him than his wife and family. A life well lived until his long battle with Alzheimer’s. Lloyd leaves to mourn, his brothers; Allan (Lenore), Lionel (Jean) and Bryan as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, who enjoyed creating great memories with him in Florida and here at home. He is predeceased by his sister Gloria (Jack). Lloyd had a great love for his family and friends at New Life Pentecostal Church where his presence has been missed. Due to the pandemic, attendance at the Funeral Service is immediate family only on Monday at 11 a.m.- however, those who wish to view the Service may do so by clicking on the "Photos and Videos" tab at the top of this page and scrolling down and then clicking on the arrow next to Watch Webcast. When restrictions are lifted it is our hope to Celebrate Lloyd’s life and love with friends and family at a later date. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lloyd can be made to New Life Pentecostal Church.
