June was born on July 2, 1951 in White’s Cove, New Brunswick. She passed away peacefully and with loving family by her side on May 21, 2020 due to Cancer. Predeceased by her adoptive parents Gordon and Gladys Dykeman. June graduated from Cambridge High School in New Brunswick. She was married to her loving husband Craig Burrows on July 4, 1986. She was a dedicated employee of CIBC for many years and held a senior branch position at the main branch in Vancouver, BC. June will be dearly missed by her husband Craig and children Natalie Hume, Carrie Pineault and step-daughter Wendy Carter. Her grandchildren Daniel and Mikey lit up her life from the moment they were born. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings C. Oscar Smith (Judy), Donnie Smith, Evelyn Smith, Wonita McPhee (Richard), Robert Smith (Rhonda) and Gary Smith. June was an avid golfer and was especially proud of her hole-in-one scored in 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford, Ontario. A private family interment has taken place and a celebration of June’s life for family and friends will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to CBI Home Health for the outstanding care their nursing staff provided to June and the family.
