Obituary for Alexander Frank Csetneky
Sunrise: January 12, 1930. Sunset: May 1, 2020.

The sudden passing of Alex, beloved husband of Helen, loving father of Nancee (Ken), cherished grandfather of Kimberlee (Chad) and Shannon (Steve). Proud great grandfather of Kaleb, Zander and Fynnlee. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Barbara, sister Helen, brother Ernie. Dear brother of Margaret and Shirley. Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Alexander was a humble man; he never liked to be the center of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn’t want us to focus on him nor the sadness of his death, but instead focus on the happiness in our lives, to appreciate each other and our future. Selfless and kind. Alex will be missed but left us with so many wonderful memories to hang on to. So stay up as late as you want, peel as many apples as you can, visit his creative workshop, take a road trip with all the short cuts you want. There never was a car that Alex could not deal with nor a chicken to make great soup from. A light will always be on to find your way home. Alex always told each one of us how much he loved us and how proud he was of us at the end of every conversation. His hospitality was kind and warm sprinkled with stories of his life ..especially when he was your age! …. showing that he was young at heart. Until we meet again. Private family service was held at Toll Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local first responders (paramedics, EMTs) is appreciated.
