With sad hearts the family of Rita Hunter announce her peaceful passing at the Stedman Community Hospice on Sunday, April 26th, 2020 in her 64th year. Predeceased by her parents Giselle and Donat Carriere. Beloved sister of Roy Carriere (Candy), Ted Carriere (Nancy), Linda Pitt (Larry), Madelaine Carriere and Shirley Quinlan (Bill). Also loved by her best friend Rod Hunter. Devoted Great Aunt to Emery, Gavin and Austin and all her other great nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. The family expresses sincere thanks to all the staff at the Stedman Community Hospice for their care and compassion during her stay. In Rita’s memory, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Due to Covid19 there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
