Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, Brantford, Marie Lillian Eldridge-Gloyn passed away on Monday April 13, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Eric Gloyn and the late Donald Eldridge. Much loved mother of the late Ron (Patricia) Eldridge, Joan (Mike) McEwan, Paul (Karen) Eldridge and Bob (Nancy) Barham. Also loved by grandchildren Julie (Sean), Shannon (Phil), Kris; Shelley (Sean-Michael), Greg (Yvonne); Lori (Wayne), Andrew (Beth); Scott (Steffanie) and by great grandchildren Chloe, Emilie; Hayden, Bryce; Raegan, Ronan; Karina; Henry, Timmy, William; Camdon, Emerson; Lennon, Oakleigh. Sister to the late Leta Hamilton and the late Donny Mitchell. Will be sadly missed by her niece Ruth (Kenn) Smith and her neice Norma MacDonald. Marie enjoyed a long career as a RN at the Brantford General Hospital. She especially loved to spend time with family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends as well as travelling. She will be dearly missed. The family expresses sincere thanks to the Gloyn family for their love and support and to the kind staff at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre for their care and compassion during her stay there.
