Easto, Ann Catherine (nee Garnett) - born in Brantford April 1939.
Fighting cancer with courage and determination, she passed at her home at the time of her choosing on Saturday March 21, 2020, in the presence of her devoted sons, Scott (Trish), Greg, (Karen), Blake, (Gail.) Beloved Grandma to Krista (Claude) Johnson, Andrea (Bryon) Williamson, Jennifer (Roy), Alana (Martin), Erica, and Breanna (Matt) Stonham, who always took special care of her with extra love and understanding. She will be missed by her seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Alice Garnett and her cherish husband of 53 years Gord Easto (2010). Sister of Jack (Louise) Garnett, sister in law to Leta (Jim) Thomson. Life long and best friend of Dot (Jack 2016) Bamsey, Linda and Kerry Boon, all of whom shared their love, lives, and vacations making countless memories. Ann enjoyed many years of friendship and laughter with the residents of Shore Acres Trailer Park in Port Dover. Ann loved to socialize and was always a ready hostess. Family Christmas was always celebrated at her place Christmas Eve. A dedicated wife, mother, friend, she was loving, quiet, and thoughtful. She had a passion for reading, the only time she ever got angry was when her Wi Fi wasn’t working and she wasn’t able to download a new book onto her Kindle. Ann was an avid Blue Jays and Raptors fan. Special thanks to Stedman Community Outreach Team, Dr. B. McNeil and her nurse Shelly and the Bayshore Staff and Dr. Lloyd-Smith. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to Stedman Community Hospice.
