Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Delores (nee Davidson) for 60 years. Loving father of Tracey (Karoly) Mansley and Dave Bury. Cherished grandfather of Emily (Stewart) McMurtrie and Vanessa Mansley. Dear brother-in-law of Madeline Bury. Ross is predeceased by his parents James and Lillian, his siblings James Bury, Norm Bury and Winnie Mroz, his niece Patricia Lynch and his nephew Karl Bury. He will be fondly remembered and loved by his nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbors and friends. Ross was one of the original members of Northridge Golf Course and enjoyed playing on this course for many years. He was an employee of Sonoco for over forty years. Nothing made Ross happier then to be surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends and family members at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 6- 8p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations in memory of Ross can be made to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation.
