Dorothy Elizabeth Ness in her 95th year passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7th at her home in Brantford. Survived by her son John and his wife Michaelene, daughter Elizabeth Dupont, grandchildren Allison Leishman, Janalee Christianson, Michael John Ness, Michelle Vingo and Quin Dupont. Dorothy cherished her nine grandchildren. She was the youngest of five children born to Hector and Catherine McCaig who have all predeceased her. She had many nieces and nephews who gave her loving support. Special thanks to her neighbour Cathy who was her lifeline. She was a lifelong member of Sydenham-Heritage United Church, where she and Howard served faithfully over the years. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Sydenham-Heritage United Church, 120 Sydenham St., Brantford on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
