On Friday January 31, 2020 Inger Jeffreys (nee Krejberg), in her 75th year, passed away peacefully, in her sleep at home in Brantford. Beloved wife of Roger Jeffreys. Proud Grandma/Bestemor of Shalyn Watts, Evan Watts, Monty Jeffreys, Alec Jeffreys, Eden Jeffreys, Janey Jeffreys, Ireland Jeffreys, Cole Jeffreys, Jaiden Jeffreys, and Sierra Jeffreys. Sister of Joan Sellars (Spence), John Krejberg, Susan McGall (Gary), Vivian Sloan, and Alice Sloan (Jeff). Inger was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on March 22, 1945 daughter of Karl Kristensen Krejberg and Esther Agnethe (nee Nielsen). Following the death of her mother Esther on November 3, 1955 Inger was raised by her loving stepmother Astrid (nee Feddersen). On February 25, 1957 Karl Krejberg, his wife, and 6 children immigrated to Canada taking up residence in Bancroft and then Kingston Ontario. Inger was predeceased by her father on January 8, 2004. At a mutual friend’s wedding in Kingston, in the summer of 1962, Inger met Roger, the one who would become the love of her life. They married on December 26, 1964. They celebrated their 55th anniversary 5 weeks before her passing. On December 31, 1960 Inger had dedicated her life to her heavenly father Jehovah and had set a life goal of serving him faithfully and as fully as she could. She voluntarily taught His name and the Bible’s promise of a better future to anyone who had a receptive ear. Her 60 years of volunteer work left a legacy for many who were touched by her love, kindness, and strong faith. She rests safely in Jehovah’s memory awaiting the promised resurrection. Inger’s life will be celebrated on February 10, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Brantford Golf and Country Club 60 Ava Rd, Brantford, ON N3T 5R7. Messages of condolence may be left at www.tollfh.ca
