After a short illness, at home, on January 22,2020. George was in his 68th year. A well loved husband of Gail Papple. Loving father of Sarah. Brother of Peggy(deceased)(Bill Rea),Edward (Ann),Zoe (Andrew) and Michael. George will be sadly missed by in laws, nieces and nephews. George worked as a Registered Nurse for 38 years. Working in mental health in Toronto, Hamilton and most recently at Brant Community Healthcare. George and his family were overwhelmed by the kindness and exceptional care he received from friends, family, CCAC,VON, and Palliative Care Services. George enjoyed camping, travelling and just hanging out with friends. Friends will be welcomed at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 12 until 2 PM. As per George’s wishes there will be no formal service but an opportunity to share good food and memories.
