After a short but hard fought battle with myasthenia gravis, God peacefully called Laura home on January 12, 2020, at the age of 44. Laura was a beloved daughter of Gina and the late Sid VanderWal, a loving sister to Cheryl and Rodney Vanderstelt, and Amy VanderWal and was a proud aunt of Jessica and Scott Vanderstelt. Laura will be forever remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St. Brantford, on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at Brant Community Church, 69 Superior St, Brantford on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1pm. Donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
