Obituary for Alberto Trombetta

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family on November 22, 2019 at the Stedman Community Hospice in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of almost 60 years to Angelina (nee Carrozzella). Cherished Dad of Adriano (Heather) and Marilyn. Devoted and loving Nonno to Christian, Allie, Austin and Torie. Predeceased by his parents Adriano and Nicolina, and his parents-in-law Tony and Anita Carrozzella. Also predeceased by his sister Angelina Vaccaro (Michael), his brother Celestino (Taryn), and his brothers-in-law Pat Carrozzella (Rosanna) and Mario Carrozzella. Survived by his sister-in-law Florence Carrozzella, his nieces and nephews Nicole, Adrian, Anthony, Anita, Michelle, Tony, Darren, Richard, Domenic and Adrian. Great-uncle to 7 great-nieces and nephews. Alberto was a hard-working man, working many years as a millwright. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family, especially his grandchildren. Alberto will be remembered as a kind, gentle and well-respected man who was a friend to all. He will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who knew him. We would like to thank the many doctors that cared for him during his illness, as well as the wonderful and caring staff at BGH and Steadman Community Hospice. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers to be recited at 2 p.m. that afternoon. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Brantford General Hospital.
