Nunn, Charles “Scott” – Never one to quit, Scott fought courageously to overcome the many health challenges he faced over the last few years. He lost the battle and passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, November 6, 2019 in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his wife Elvira Nunn (McAuliffe). Father and friend to Stephen (Denise) McAuliffe and Heather (Chris) McAuliffe. Special grandpa to Alana and Jarod McAuliffe and his furry grandchild Sadie. He will be dearly missed by his cherished friend Marilyn Salmon. Scott was pre-deceased by his brothers John Nunn and Edward “Mac” Nunn and survived by his sister Mary Elizabeth Simmons and brother James (Jean) Nunn. Scott spent most of his working career in the transportation industry with Finch and Sons Transport, Stan Wright Cartage & Leasing, and Laidlaw Transport. Scott was a long-time member of the Brantford Air Force Club and the Mocha Shriners. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 from 6-8pm and Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 from 10-11am. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 11am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Scott can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. www.tollfh.ca
