Passed peacefully with her husband Jim by her side on November 5th, 2019 at Telfer Place, Paris. Beloved wife for 58 years of James (Jim) Pilkington. Loving Mom to Cindy and Jim Pilkington, Lois and Andrew Pilkington and Grandmother to Nikki, Courtney, Hayley, and Kennedy. Pat will be missed and remembered by workmates, friends, family in England, fellow Legion and Ex-Imperial members.
Born March 22, 1940, in Gorton, Manchester, England. Pat was the daughter of the late Ellen (Nellie) and Bill Mooney. She was the youngest of three sisters, Maureen, and Brenda. Jim and Pat immigrated to Canada and settled in Brantford in 1974, along with sons James (Jim) and Andrew. Among may jobs she worked in various retirement homes Pat was a caregiver and cook. Known for her involvement with the Ladies Auxiliary at the Ex-Imperial Veterans Club Brantford and the British International Village. Friends will be received at the Charing Cross Reception Suites adjacent to the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Monday November 11, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation.
