Obituary for Barbara Diana Hammond
Passed away peacefully at home, as she wanted, on Friday October 4, 2019 at the age of 85. Barbara
joins Al (2012), her celebrated husband of 60 years and her beloved son Dale (2018).
She will be missed by all those who know her and admired for her strong independent spirit. “Aunt
Barb,” will be fondly remembered by all her surviving nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, grandchildren
and great grandchildren. Barbara didn’t attend funerals, and in accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Donations in memory of Barbara can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
