Dear mother of David and his wife Cynthia, Dennis and his wife Cindy, and Ruth and her husband Doug Grierson. Loved grandmother to Meghan and her husband Miles, Katie and Gavin, Michael and his wife Carolin, Mark and his wife Joanna, Matthew and his wife Meaghan, Kim and her husband Dan. Great grandma “Granny” to nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Judy Evans (the late Roy), and the late John Horn (the late Alice). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Glenda was a longtime resident of Dunnville and was very active in her community. She owned two flower shops, ‘Glen Ruth Florist’ with her dear friend Ruth Mellen, and then ‘Glenda’s Flowers’ on her own. She was on the Board at Dunnville Hospital for 15 years and served a term as Chair of the Board. The family send their sincere thanks to the staff of Grandview Lodge and Nurse Next Door for their care of Glenda, and to all of her friends who meant so much to her through the years. Friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. A private service will be held with interment at Farringdon Burial Ground, Brantford on Wednesday followed by a reception and an opportunity to greet Dunnville friends at the Dunnville Community Lifespan Centre, 275 Ramsey Drive, Dunnville on Wednesday October 2, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. Donations to the Dunnville Hospital Foundation (905-774-2529) appreciated.
