After a brief illness, Blair Walter Edward Kingsbury, at the age of 42 passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. Blair was the loving husband of Shannon and devoted father to their boys, Ben and Jack. He was the beloved son of Doug and Isobel Kingsbury and son in law of Robert Conway (Marg) and Cheryl Hill. Blair will be deeply missed by his sisters, Jill and Kimmie and his brother in law and best friend Gary. He was a special nephew to Lori and John Zwolensky and David and the late Elizabeth Csordas. Blair was a caring and special UB to his nieces, Addie and Lucy. He worked hard as a water operations manager at the Brantford Water Treatment Plant for 17 years. In his spare time Blair loved playing soccer and baseball and shared these passions as he coached his son’s teams. He was always excited for the annual trek to Disney World and any other opportunities to be with his family. Special thank you to the Intensive Care and Cardiac Care Units at the Hamilton General Hospital, Dr. Craig Ainsworth and Nurses Pam and Brian. Friends and Family will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Thursday, September 26 from 4 to 8pm. You were an unbelievably nice guy and that’s coming from a guy that when we were playing “Red Rover” on recess at Echo Place at 10yrs old and I wasn’t going to let you break through no matter what and I ended up breaking my arm and I’ll never forget us laughing after because once you realized I was hurt you wouldn’t leave my side and old man principal Mr Bragg came out and lifted me up off the snow by my broken arm and I screamed and you told him that’s the arm he hurt what are you doing!?!? You always were smiling and goofing around and probably the best soccer goalie I know you will be missed beyond words.
