Peacefully passed away into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus, on Sept 14th, 2019, in her 96th year, as her family watched over her. Viola was the beloved wife of the late Fred Hayes. Survived by her children Barb Sim (Wayne), Bev Hayes (Susan) and grandchildren Lauralee & Deana Sim, Lance, Andrea and Ryan Hayes as well as 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Francis Petheram, sisters Elma and Nellie. Viola was an active member of Hartford and Central Baptist Churches. Viola with Fred, enjoyed camping and the fellowship of Triple C Camp. A very unassuming person who lovingly worked hard to serve her family in a Godly manner. A Memorial Celebration for Viola will be held at Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A private Family Burial has already taken place.
